Experience

Mrs. Larsen began teaching Graphic Communications in Kaneland school district in 2006. Before Kaneland, she taught Graphic Communications for 8 years at DeKalb High School and CAD, drafting, and residential wiring at Sycamore High School for a year. Prior to teaching, Mrs. Larsen worked in the electronic prepress department at DB Hess printing company.

Responsibilities

Mrs. Larsen teaches Graphic Communications courses at Fox Valley Career Center and Kaneland School District. Students experience project based assignments that help them learn organization, problem solving skills, and industry related works skills. Curriculum focuses on; electronic prepress functions such as learning software like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign, offset printing, screen printing, and finishing processes.
